Academic, Industry,& Community Designer

Hello! I am an academic, industry, and community designer with over twenty-six years of experience. I am a designer and researcher with Blackbird Revolt, a co-founder of Racism Untaught, and the non-profit Hatch & Flock. Having served as an Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (2017–2023), I am now pursuing a Ph.D. in Design at the University of Edinburgh.

My current research focuses on developing design interventions that fuel and sustain ethical practices in the design discipline.
